Thimphu is a city that’s uniquely gives you a right balance between modernity and tradition, with the ancient and the new blending harmoniously. For Adults: Voter ID – the original voter ID card is accepted for adults.
If the child is under 18 years old, a full birth certificate in English (original hard copy). In regional languages a notarised English translation is compulsory.
